Dave - Sessions/bundles

What is and isn't chainable?
Should users expect blocking fetching operations to be chainable?
Users might want "chaining" horizontally across threads versus vertically within a thread.
- This might make sense in a GPU
- Name: chaining implies ordering, sessions has an MPI meaning, bundles seems good

Nick - Memory model

Reviewed proposal draft for feedback:
- Shmem_fence provides release fence, but not acquire (this is a gap in OpenSHMEM)
- May need different scopes or strengths to capture difference between fence and quiet (point-to-point versus global semantic)
