Notes

James,

  • Remove the deprecated items and change the version to 2.0

Tony

  • Remove the deprecated items but don’t change the version to 2.0 (Did I capture your opinion, right?)

Dave

  • Should we trigger a specification release? Manju
  • Triggering a specification release is high overhead and as of today we don’t have many items for release

Naveen

  • Remove the deprecated items, but not enthusiastic about versioning 2.0 because of upcoming changes from Spaces and/or GPU semantics
  • Will support removing the depurated items and

Nick

  • Applications are unlikely to use both active sets and Teams.

Manju

  • I would support removing deprecated items
  • Though inclined to name 2.0 as this is a norm, I don’t have a strong opinion on it.

Next discussion/polls

  • Remove the deprecated items
  • Assuming we remove the deprecated items, should we name it 1.6 or 2.0?
