Tribe

A group of entities which share one or more attributes.

You can assign yourself to any tribe by giving yourself an attribute.

The app works on the strength of associations to various attributes. So you assigning an attribute to yourself gives you a weak (the weakest?) association. If someone else cosigned that attribute about you, that would strengthen your association. The strength of your association is compared to the sum of your cosigns compared relative to other folks, and the number of cosigns they have for that same association.

A person could seek an even stronger connection from you by requiring you to have a cosign from a specific person, presumably someone they trust.

Tribes are how you interact with the rest of the network. They control what you see, and what you don't.

Tribes are how people contact you. You can set a fee to be invited to announcements, so that people will have to pay to get your attention. The stronger your association with a tribe, the more, relatively speaking, you can command before being contacted.
