View Workflow JSON Record

Krish Majumdar edited this page Jan 5, 2023 · 5 revisions

A single workflow's complete database record may be viewed by pressing the dark grey [View JSON Record] button that can be found on the workflow's information page, as well as similar (also dark grey) buttons found on various other pages in the interface. (Please note that the same buttons are also used on certain other pages for viewing component and/or action database records as well.) Upon pressing the button, a new browser tab or window will be opened, showing the user a page similar to the following:

View-Workflow-JSON-Record

This is the full and complete database record of a single workflow - please see the Workflow Record Fields Wiki article for a full description of the possible fields that may be shown. The record will be displayed as a JSON-formatted document - all modern browsers are capable of automatically displaying JSON-formatted documents in an easy-to-read format as shown in the image above, but older browsers and some mobile devices may not have this functionality built in.

Please note that a workflow's database record cannot be edited from this page - if changes are required to the information relating to the workflow as a whole, users should use the Edit Workflow Information interface page, and information relating to a single step in the workflow is entered through the workflow's information page.
