View Workflow JSON Record

Krish Majumdar edited this page Jan 10, 2023 · 5 revisions

A single workflow's JSON record may be viewed by pressing the dark grey [View JSON Record] button on the workflow's information page, as well as similar (also dark grey) buttons found on various other pages in the interface. (Please note that the same buttons are also used elsewhere in the interface for viewing component and/or action database records as well.)

Upon pressing the button, a new browser tab or window will be opened, showing the user a page similar to the following:

View-Workflow-Record

This is the full and complete database record of a single workflow - please see the Workflow Record Fields Wiki article for descriptions of the possible fields that may be shown. All modern browsers are capable of automatically displaying JSON-formatted documents in an easy-to-read format (such as in the image above), but older browsers and some mobile devices may not have this functionality built in - in which case, the record will be displayed as plain text.

Please note that a workflow's record cannot be edited from this page - if changes are required to the user-defined information in the workflow's type form, users should use the Edit Workflow Information page, and information relating to a single workflow step is entered via the workflow's information page.
