12:39:08 From Phillip Long (Georgetown, T3/LER Network) to Everyone:
The big tent discussion at the VCWG Miami meeting focused on the importance of insuring a transformation mechanism defined to map the values back to
application/credential+ld+json could be demonstrated for either ACDC or Gordian Envelopes or any other pure binary formats that have data payloads that secure
information that, after transformation, can be represented in the Verifiable Credentials Data Model. This from Manu’s summary of the meeting outcomes in Miami.
12:39:31 From Drummond Reed to Everyone:
	Thanks, Phil.
12:39:49 From Phillip Long (Georgetown, T3/LER Network) to Everyone:
Reacted to "Thanks, Phil." with 👍
12:40:59 From Tracy Kuhrt to Everyone:
@Drummond, was this the issue you were referring to during the first part of the discussion: https://github.com/w3c/vc-data-model/issues/947
12:41:55 From Drummond Reed to Everyone:
Yes! Thanks Tracy. 295 comments so far.
12:42:59 From Phillip Long (Georgetown, T3/LER Network) to Everyone:
@Tracy - I missed the beginning of Drummond’a presentation but I did attend remotely the meetings in Miami. This was .. strongly discussed… The transformation back to an application/credential+ld+json media type was the bridging compromise.
12:44:24 From Drummond Reed to Everyone:
Thanks Phil. I shared a slide showing the wording of the compromise.
12:45:38 From Phillip Long (Georgetown, T3/LER Network) to Everyone:
@Drummond - Apologies for missing the first part of your preso and any redundancy I’ve inadvertently added.
12:46:13 From Drummond Reed to Everyone:
Phil, no problem at all — we were hoping someone from the Miami meeting would be able to attend.
12:47:12 From Drummond Reed to Everyone:
Here again is the link to the RWOT paper on “Identifier Binding”: https://github.com/WebOfTrustInfo/rwot11-the-hague/blob/master/final-documents/identifier-binding.md
12:48:58 From Tracy Kuhrt to Everyone:
+1 to terminology for OWF (assuming that is where Drummond is going).
12:50:50 From Hart Montgomery to Everyone:
Would anyone be interested in contributing and/or maintaining a glossary? ;)
12:51:08 From Daniel Bachenheimer (Accenture) to Everyone:
FYI: ISO SC 37 (biometrics) liaison organizations include:
EC (European Commission), eu-LISA (European Union Agency for the Operational Management of Large-Scale IT Systems in the Area of Freedom, Security and Justice), FRONTEX, and Interpol
12:53:13 From Drummond Reed to Everyone:
@Hart, you can count on me for help on that glossary. I have some specific suggestions for how we can go about terminology development and harmonization.
12:54:39 From Hart Montgomery to Everyone:
@Drummond Great! This will be fantastic for coordinating everyone and all of the different coding efforts. Thanks for being willing to help!
12:56:09 From Drummond Reed to Everyone:
I could not agree more — it will be crucial.
12:56:55 From Sam Curren (TelegramSam) to Everyone:
	DIDComm has a Bluetooth Transport.
12:57:15 From Drummond Reed to Everyone:
This question of message queuing is also highly relevant to the ToIP Trust Spanning Protocol Task Force: https://wiki.trustoverip.org/display/HOME/Trust+Spanning+Protocol+Task+Force
