Adjusting name field for the name of the shape with QGis

Each shape inside the shapefile has a name, and for it to work properly, the name of the field related to the shape's name should be "NAME", in uppercase letters.

To make this change, follow these steps:

1. With the shapefile opened, right-click on the shape and go to "Properties".
2. Go to the "Fields" tab.
3. Click on the pen icon labeled "Toggle editing mode".
4. Locate the field related to the name of the shape.
5. Double-click it and change it to "NAME", in uppercase letters.
6. Click again on the pen icon to save the change.
