Noise removal

Typically 3D noisy regions may result from the inference process due to possible bias, variance, and irreducible error (e.g., noise with data). To remove these noisy volumes, we designed a 3D connected components algorithm to filter out those noisy regions.

Data Visualization

niivue viewer is used for brainchop v4.0.

Papaya viewers are used till v3.4.0 to visualize the input and output images. A composite operation is also provided to verify the output image accuracy subjectively. Different ColorLUT can be applied to enhance the visualization process.

Saving Output

After verifying the output, it can be saved locally in Nifti file format.
