Can you specify different modal availability for each subpopulation? Or can vehicle types be assigned to modes?

I'm currently trying to use vehicles that I generated as a specific mode so that the mode can have its own flow characteristics. However, I've not been able to associate the two.

Alternatively, I tried to create subpopulations in hopes that I can specify different modal availability for each subpopulation. This will make sure the mode uses only one type of vehicle that I've assigned.

Please let me know if one of the two can be done and how to do it?

I think a corresponding example that does this was just committed a few hours ago (https://github.com/matsim-org/matsim/commit/1aeee3e719118dc8cd0be7560f1e31f687b534dd). Maybe this commit helps you get started.
