Should #396 be included in this patch release? It was merged to main, but hasn't been moved into the gz-sensors8 branch

I didn't know that PR needed to be backported. Would you be able to backport it in the next couple hours? Otherwise, we can make another patch release later.

Up to you, but seeing as it fixes as commonly occurring segfault I think it would be appropriate to backport it to harmonic. I've cherry-picked the commit in question and opened a PR at #420
