This updates the docs on trunk. The docs on the developer site are from the latest lts branch (or a dedicated branch stable that we point to the a commit on the latest lts).
You probably want to run this update from the latest LTS branch and not from main to avoid documenting unreleased changes. Once that's done we can update the stable branch pointer to your commit.
If you are ok with waiting to have these doc changes pushed out you can merge this and wait until the next branch cut.

Just saw that the linter failed on this PR. The generation scripts don't generate linter approved markdown so you need to run the linter locally before uploading. I'll update the instructions to clarify that this is the case. |
