During the Deep Learning course students are granted a limited opportunity to reduce lateness penalty for some assignments. For simplicity, let's call these opportunities "tokens".

  • First "token" is given to everyone who submits week1 assignment (theano)
  • The second is given to everyone who submits the week4 (rnn) assignment

When submitting assignments student can state that he would like to use the "token", in which case lateness penalty will not exceed -1 point regardless of submission time.

The goal is to encourage more people complete important homework assignments like week2 and week3.
