Team meeting notes:

For the following:

All members were present and the development was done in UG4.
Pair programming was used extensively and hence some members have fewer commits.


Tuesday 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. (20170926)

  • Level design brainstorming (room one)
  • Discussion on deep mapping between game elements and critical thinking

Wednesday 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. (20170927)

  • Discussion on game elements that map to critical thinking proposed by different team members
  • Discussion on overall storyline
  • Level design brainstorming (room two)
  • GitHub set up, first commit includes central character, movements, simple platforms and background
  • Trello set up, task allocation to team members

Thursday 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. (20170928)

  • Finalising storyline and game dialogue scripts
  • Level design brainstorming (room three)
  • Level collaboration mechanism implementation (room one, room two)

Thursday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. (20171005)

  • Merge prefabs into level layouts for level one rooms one and two
  • Discuss serious game concept of critical thinking
  • Playtesting

Friday 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. (20171006)

  • Level collaboration mechanism implementation (room three)
  • NPC dialogue and item placement (room one)
  • Item inventory and character profile system

Sunday 12 p.m. - 6 p.m. (20171008)

  • Merged all branches to master branch
  • Level collaboration mechanism implementation (room three)
  • NPC dialogue and item placement (room one)
  • Item inventory

Monday 10 p.m. - 8 p.m. (20171009)

  • Merged all branches to master branch
  • Deleted any unnecessary elements in project
  • NPC dialogue and item placement
  • Polished all scenes
