WildFly Core Release Schedule

All releases are listed on GitHub releases.

WildFly Core uses a time-boxed release schedule with a new version released every 2 weeks for ongoing development (Beta releases).

Other important releases (CR and Final) will be delivered within or in addition to the time-boxed releases.

Time-boxed releases

WildFly Core will be released the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month (circa 1 or 2 days) for ongoing development

Additional releases

In addition to the predictable time-boxed releases, there will be releases for CR and Final versions that might depend on WildFly’s own schedule.

The date of these releases will be notified in advance on the wildfly-dev mailing list so that users and developers know in advance the important dates for theses releases:

  • feature freeze (after which no new features are allowed, only critical or blocker bugs are accepted)

  • tag (where WildFly core is effectively released)
