This is userscript for support the process of translating What If? articles and xkcd webcomic to Russian. It parses and styles text fragments on Notabenoid (the service for collective text tranlating) for convenient reading and editing.
- Install one of userscripts' manager: Greasemonkey addon for Firefox or TamperMonkey addon for Chrome/Chromium.
- Install the userscript.
That's all.
Notes:
Installation of userscripts without an userscripts' manager seems to be completely disabled in recent Firefox/Chrome due to security reasons.
Scriptish addon for Firefox seems to be outdated and doesn't work for me with recent Firefox (45.0.1) version.
The script highlight subset of markdown formatting elements, render links and formulas; nothing unexpected here. Typical mistakes (for Russian texts) also highlighted in translated text as well as few formatting peculiarity, which is specific for our projects (for example scene descriptions and character names).
Also the script provide directive render
, which now support only image embedding with the next syntax:
render: ![](http://example.com/image.png)
