This looks great! There are two things I'd love to also see in here, but that aren't blockers:

1. A sentence that recaps the upsides of hyper 1.0 (currently, we mainly say "it's good that hyper is 1.0 + 1.0 has a bunch of API shuffles and removals, and it'd be good to include a "and here's why it's good for you").
2. A brief summary of what's left until axum itself can go 1.0

I've added a note about why hyper 1.0 is good. Not sure how to phrase it another way than "more stability is good for the ecosystem" 😅

I'm not sure I wanna start talking about axum 1.0 yet. Feels like opening Pandora's box and it's not happening until tower-service is 1.0 which is probably far off.

For any one curious I think the primary blockers for axum 1.0

• tower-service and tower-layer 1.0
• async fn in trait so we can stop using async-trait
• Take a hard look at axum and axum-core's APIs and figure out what needs to be moved to axum-extra because it can be stable yet
