Fiat rate calculation refers to how the fiat rate for a specific rate is calculated
Some markets are very violate so taking the average for the hour would provide an inaccurate result. For example if you sold at a high of 5$ but low was 1$ and the average was 2$. To solve this all trades against/for bitcoin and calculated using the bitcoin price against your selected fiat currency.
Below is a break down of the different methods currently supported
- Double Average - Takes the average of the bitcoin and hour average.
- Hour Average(default) - Takes the average of the open, close, high and low for the hour
- Hour High - hour high price
- Hour Low - hour low price
- Hour Close - hour close price
- Hour Open - hour open price
- Day Average - Takes the average of the day(VWAP)
- Day Average Mid - Day Average of high/low
- Day Average Volume - Day Average based on volume
