A ph.d. economist, my day job is economics consulting, mostly supporting antitrust litigation. Related to that work, I maintain nbstata and jupyterlab_stata_highlight2, partly supported by my employer, Christensen Associates (a wonderful place to work).

Your support would help me maintain and improve those Stata-related projects (and make related contributions to nbdev and jupyterlab), since the on-the-clock time I can devote to them is limited.

I am mostly looking for support, however, so that I could take more unpaid leave to work on empathy.chat, a network of NVC empathy buddies and a platform designed for NVC leaders to foster empathy buddy chats within their groups. The vision is to empower NVC practitioners to connect more easily for practice, multiplying warmth and presence throughout the world.

I'm building the empathy.chat app with Anvil, and support would also allow me to contribute more to that community, with which I am active providing forum support and occasionally contributing to open-source projects.
