This release contains scripts as used for the analyses in the manuscript. In the meantime, we have noticed (thanks to Guoyun Xie from BGI) that extractReadStartsFromBAM_Region_WPS.py and extractReadStartsFromBAM2Wig.py produce different WPS values at the interval edges. extractReadStartsFromBAM_Region_WPS.py misses alignment ends outside of the requested interval, but required for WPS calculation.
