Beta Samwich

Beta Samwich is a tool that utilizes Puppeteer to search for multiple keywords on beta.sam.gov and dedupe/export all results.

Requirements

• Node (version >=10.0.0)
• NPM (version >=6.4.0)

Installation

• Windows
• MacOS

Usage

• Run npm ci to install the dependencies
• Run npm run start -- --keywords "foo" to do a search

You can also search for multiple keywords instead by seaprating them with a comma:

• Run npm run start -- --keywords "foo, bar, baz" to do a search

You can optionally set the amount of days to search, 1, 2, or 3.

• Run npm run start -- --keywords "foo" --lastPublishedDate 3 to search the previous 3 days of a given keyword

If exporting is enabled, all files will be saved in the /output folder, prefixed with the keyword used.

Add Command to PATH (Optional)

It's possible to add a samwich command to your PATH so you can use it globally.

• Run npm link

Use samwich instead of the node run start command above:

• Run samwich --keywords "foo, bar, baz" to do a search

To remove the symlink form your path, run npm unlink.
