TaskHelper.WhenAny Method (IEnumerable(Task))

Creates a task that will complete when any of the supplied tasks have completed.

Parameters

 

tasks
Type: System.Collections.Generic.IEnumerable(Task)
The tasks to wait on for completion.

Return Value

Type: Task(Task)
A task that represents the completion of one of the supplied tasks. The return task's Result is the task that completed.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type IEnumerable(Task). When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
