Release Checklist

Making a Sage Release

To make a release, the following things need to happen:

1. Make the release build with an appropriate version string
2. Create a release tag on the tip of the release branch
3. Add a new version label to the issue tracker
4. Write the release post and save it as a draft
5. Submit the release build to addons.mozilla.org
6. Wait for approval from AMO...
7. Update the version number on the install page
8. Publish the release post
9. Send a release email to our development group
10. Create a Company Update for our Get Satisfaction community
11. Mark as "complete" any resolved Get Satisfaction topics
