@sarina Do you know why I can't assign @xitij2000 to this ticket? He is assigned to #22 so that looks possible, I might be missing something.

Hmm I did a little googling and found this:

You can assign up to 10 people to each issue or pull request, including yourself, anyone who has commented on the issue or pull request, anyone with write permissions to the repository, and organization members with read permissions to the repository.

So perhaps before @xitij2000 had commented on the issue before assigning. I don't know what our policies are for this repo but I would think it would make sense for all community members working on issues/attending meeting to possibly have write permissions to this repo so we can all easily make & assign issues. @nedbat do you have an issue with me making that change?

This is being addressed via several frontend initiatives, such as this OEP and the design tokens initiative. We can close this.
