Hello @dianakhuang! Would any of the deprecation working group members be able to attend the contributor's meetup periodically and provide updates regarding the work the deprecation wg is doing?

If that's not possible, is there any Slack channel or Discourse thread where asynchronous updates are being posted about the working group?

@nizarmah The current meeting time seems to overlap with our existing meeting schedule 😂 , but the slack channel is #depr-slash-n-burn and the page where I post meeting notes is: https://openedx.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/AC/pages/2555445604/DEPR+Meeting+Notes+2021

@dianakhuang - actually it doesn't overlap (1500 UTC, not EST) - it would be good if someone from the team could try to attend every so often to give an update, as having a rep present allows us to ask questions. Perhaps at the next meeting the group could decide who could attend this meeting (even part of it would be fine!)

@sarina , whoops, you're right that I was reading it incorrectly. I'll see if we can get someone to go next week, and then we can talk about who should go going forward.
