we'd like to use this plugin for mapping access points in our buildings. for this, the grey boxes that represent devices are ... suboptimal.
if a device type has a front image, it will be used instead. racks are of course unaffected by this.
in combination with #41 you can create nice looking plans like below (this uses a sample floorplan from wikipedia):
i'm happy to workshop this idea in order to make it easier to maintain, but i believe this implementation is at least a good starting point.
