We primarily use our Gitter channel for day-to-day communication. Ask for an invite if you want to join our private developers channel.

There is a freenode channel, which is advertised on the repo page but is inactive.

Documentation & Planning

There are several places where documentation and planning live:

• the GitHub wiki, which has been sporadically updated in recent months; note specifically the roadmap
• the SmarterCleanup wiki, which was used in the past
• the docs directory, which is unchanged from the OpenPlans project, with just a few exceptions
• the GitHub issues are used for short-term planning (specific technical changes, as well as slightly higher-level meta issues)
• the GitHub Projects page is used somewhat interchangeably with meta issues

These sources of information are largely out of sync with each other.
