Contribution Flow

Choosing an issue to work on

Our main focus currently is on the Phase 1 board. As a rule of thumb any unassigned issue on this board is ready to be picked up by a community member. It is often a good idea to add a comment on the issue or mention in slack that you would like to work on this just in case someone else is working on that issue already.

Of course pair programming is possible and in fact highly recommended so if someone is already working on something you would like to get involved in please feel free to ask them if they would like some help.

Providing a pull request

There is a template for providing pull requests which should be followed when setting up your pull request. As well as contribution guidelines. We recommend that you have a look at both before providing a pull request.

Once you have submitted a pull request please mention this in the import/export slack channel so that someone can pick up the review. As a community member please also feel free to review pull requests. We aim to not only have 1 core member review a pull request but also 1 community member per review.
