This is the first standalone release of the LOFAR beam library. It's functionality is the same as the one in the LOFAR repository, but does not have dependencies on other LOFAR code, and unlike the LOFARBeam version in the LOFAR repository, this version builds with newer Casacore versions. This version is going to be the one that will be maintained from now on.
