🩻 Predicting Pneumonia from X-Ray Images (May 2023) Convolutional neural network model in PyTorch to predict whether a person has pneumonia based on chest X-ray image.
🗞️ Understanding News Coverage Through Natural Language Processing (March 2024) Used BERT model to classify 37,044 new stories into news topics and analyzed differences in amount and sentiment of coverage by different news sources within different topics, such as healthcare and immigration.
🧬 Genomics Annotations Service (March 2024) Flask application leveraging lambda functions, queues, and other cloud services running on Amazon Web Services to annotate genetic data, store annotations, provision users, and automate emails. Repository is private but can be shared upon request.
📱 News Application Prototype (December 2023) Designed a news application based on user research which aggregates new stories from different news sources and analyzes articles using artificial intelligence; created high-fidelity prototypes in Figma.
