Releases: liamgiraldo/Litebridge
1.0.0
Litebridge 1.0.0
1.0.0 is finally available for public use.
This version of the plugin is actually from the July Early Access playtest. Since then, the plugin has moved on to be developed specifically for the litebow.net server. As a result, this version of Litebridge is bare-bones compared to the one found on litebow.net. I'll list the features below.
Features
- Create bridge maps using the bridge wand tool
- Play games using the bridge start menu
- Play games using litebridge commands
- Spectate games using litebridge commands
- Change your hotbar using the bridge start menu
Features NOT INCLUDED
- Dueling other players / parties
- Party system
- Litecoin integration
- Litecosmetics integration
- Various quality of life changes
- Newer bug fixes
To use or play with the not included features, you should go check out the litebow.net server, where all of these features are intact.
Getting started
-
I seriously recommend you use Multiverse-Core for your server. Litebridge, while it technically does not require it, does nothing but benefit from you using the plugin since the server operates on a world basis. It will make it easier for you to create new bridge maps and delete existing ones. If you choose not to use it, you are limited to the 3 minecraft provided worlds, being the overworld, nether, and end. Litebridge does not support bungeecord.
-
Download the plugin, and put it in your server's plugin folder. Your server must be running Java 8 or above, and must have
spigot or paper installed. This plugin has not been tested for any version above or below 1.8.8-1.8.9. Please do not report compatibility issues for unsupported server versions. -
Restart the server.
-
Use the /reload command to refresh the plugin. Yes, you need to do this.
-
Find a suitable world for your bridge lobby (or create one with multiverse). In the config.yml, set the lobby parameter to the name of the world your lobby will be in. Also, set the spawn location for that lobby.
-
Reload the plugin by restarting the server or using /reload.
-
Using multiverse, import a world containing a bridge map (or create one in a world that isn't the one you set as the lobby).
-
Teleport to that world.
-
Use /bridgewand to get the map making tool.
-
Get started by right clicking on a block, continue to follow the prompts up until finished. Don't worry if you mess up, you might not be able to go back now but you can change the parameters later.
-
Your map should now be created. If you need to make changes to your world parameters, or you accidentally put wrong parameters in, you can go into the config.yml and change your world's parameters as necessary.
-
Restart the plugin by restarting the server or doing /reload.
-
Use the bridge menu (nether star) or do /q (worldname) (maxplayers) to queue for the game.
-
You can use /q leave to leave the queue for a game. The game will be started when the maximum players for that game are met.
Support
This plugin (especially 1.0.0) is probably going to have loads of bugs, issues, and deficiencies. Join the litebridge discord for support or bugfixes. https://discord.gg/6rxncNzepG (litebridge discord).
