rme (python)

Remove files based on their extension. Supply multiple extensions or pre-defined families of extensions. Has interactive, recursive and test modes.

smartMove, smartCopy, smartLink (perl)

rename files while you copy, link, or move. can supply multiple regex swap rules to be applied to the filename. output directory created as needed.
