SeraySis is a custom-built Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system originally developed in 2018 for Seraytrans, a logistics company. This .NET-based application was designed to streamline operations, enhance customer service, and optimize resource management specifically for the needs of Seraytrans and the broader logistics industry.

Project History

SeraySis was commissioned by Seraytrans in 2018 to address the unique challenges faced by logistics companies. Over the past 6 years, it has evolved to become a comprehensive solution for managing transportation and logistics operations. While initially tailored for Seraytrans, the system's architecture allows for potential adaptation to other logistics companies with similar needs.

This CRM system caters to the complex requirements of logistics companies, offering tools for:

Setup and Installation

  1. Clone the repository: git clone https://github.com/yourusername/SeraySis.git
  2. Open the solution in Visual Studio 2013 or later
  3. Restore NuGet packages
  4. Update the connection string in Web.config to point to your SQL Server instance
  5. Run Update-Database in Package Manager Console to apply migrations
  6. Build and run the application

Usage

  1. User Management:

    • Navigate to the User Management section to create and manage user accounts
    • Assign appropriate roles (Admin, Manager, Driver, Customer Service)
  2. Fleet Management:

    • Add vehicles to the system with detailed specifications
    • Monitor real-time location and status of vehicles
    • Schedule and track maintenance activities
  3. Route Optimization:

    • Enter delivery locations and constraints
    • Use the route optimization tool to generate efficient routes
    • View estimated mileage, fuel consumption, and ETAs
  4. Customer Management:

    • Create and manage customer profiles
    • Log interactions and set follow-up reminders
    • Generate reports on customer activity and satisfaction
  5. Financial Management:

    • Generate invoices automatically based on completed deliveries
    • Access financial dashboards for insights on revenue and expenses
    • Export financial reports in Excel format
