New EmuNAND9 release, including a new standard font. This is new:

  • New sleek 6x10 standard font (thanks @dark-samus for initial discovery, implemetation and testing)
  • 32k clusters are now used as default, because 64k clusters lead to trouble with GBA VC games
  • EmuNAND NCSD magic is wiped upon format, to prevent wrong detection of no more existing EmuNANDs in CFWs

As for 64k clusters being no more supported - I know some of you may be unhappy about this choice. You can still use GodMode9 (need to compile from source now) to format your SD card with 64k cluster size, though.

Just a small maintenance release, containing nothing too special. This is new:

  • Revised work folder system to match the latest D9 update
  • Updated starter pack
  • Various minor fixes and improvements

The new preferred work folder (ie. the destination and source for NAND backups and the starter.bin) is - same as for Decrypt9 - now /files9. Older work folders still work, but their use is disencouraged.

Guess you didn't see that coming - a new EmuNAND9 release! This is new:

  • NAND dump verification via .SHA files
  • Various smaller bugfixes and improvements

Have fun and be sure to report any problems that may come up!

This release only has one new major feature, but a good one:

  • Support for FAT32 with 64k clusters, all SD cards >= 16GB are now formatted using 64k clusters.
  • Linux support for creating starter.bin files (thanks @Steveice10 and others)
  • Fully updated starter pack, now contains basically everything required for downgrading / OTP dumping

Large SD cards will benefit from 64k clusters with significantly faster loading times for basically everything (don't expect miracles, though). You will need to format your SD card anew, with EmuNAND9, to get these benefits. Make backups of your Emu & SysNAND, just to be safe.

A maintenance release with improved menu structure, this is new:

  • Simplified menu, when formatting you can now decide about autosetup at a later point
  • Updated starter.bin with most recent versions of all tools
  • Some minor improvements to on-screen output.
  • Improved readme file

The main difference vs the previous release is in the menu structure. You are now given the choice to use starter.bin (if it exists) for autosetup while formating and you don't have to make that choice from the menu anymore.

And here's the obligatory bugfix release. Yesterdays release prevented you from restoring proper NAND dumps, this is fixed in this one.

This is the 'full RedNAND support' release. This is new:

  • Added 'Complete RedNAND Setup' feature
  • Added options to convert your EmuNAND <-> RedNAND and vice versa
  • Improved SD card and SD card fault handling
  • Various smaller and bigger improvements

Read more about the RedNAND / GW EmuNAND difference here.
RedNANDs are, by now, only supported by CakesFW and AuReiNAND, and technically a superior alternative to GW type EmuNANDs. If you do a complete setup, you can save a lot of space at least for N3DS consoles if you choose RedNAND over GW type EmuNAND.

Looks like someone (= me) was too fast with yesterdays release.

New in this one:

  • Actually allow to write GW EmuNANDs again

Other than this, nothing has changed.

Someone asked for a new release, so here it is.

New in this release:

  • Full A9LH compatibility (= no more black screem)
  • Writing RedNANDs is now possible - this is a possible workaround for those special 2DS consoles
  • EmuNAND Partitions are added to the MBR and can be handled via partition manager software
  • Updated starter.bin

Have fun!

This is a rather small maintenance release. New in this release:

  • Allow specifiying the file name when dumping / restoring the SysNAND / EmuNAND
  • Updated starter.bin
  • CakeHax entrypoint fixed (experimental, may break the GW 4.x browser entrypoint)

Testing the CakeHax entrypoint and the GW 4.x Launcher.dat entrypoint is highly appreciated. Give me feedback if you can!
