Adding new comments to the code, non functional changes, just updating the documentation

Cannot merge changes, because VS toolset was changes in the commits and it is incompatible with current Appveyor configuration.
By the way, I suppose these comments were added by some AI tool. In some cases the comments are good but in many places are too obvious. The comments should not explain self-explaining code, because they decrease code readability.
