Badabing bada boom, Access point with Tor over wlan1 interface, internet over wlan0.
In simpler terms.
- Raspi Zero W connects via onboard chip.
- Hosts WiFi over attached adapter.
So you find a ton of Raspi PiFi tutorials, right? Right. They go through all the hoops.
Voodoo this. Command line this. Comment that out. Insert this...
Problem being
- Often those don't work at all. Found out the hard way.
- Steps null each other out
- Tutorials don't go indepth or assume a lot of stuf.
- You need to do this stuff over and over again.
- Flash Raspbian.
- scp the file over to Raspi
scp ./tor_pifi_wlan1.sh [email protected]:/home/pi/
(insert a proper Raspi IP) - Connect it via SSH (network or USB)
- Make the script runnable
chmod +x ./tor_pifi_wlan1.sh
- Run
sudo ./tor_pifi_wlan1.sh
There is also a pifi_wlan1 script. Use this if you do not want a Tor connection.
I also do not support OpenVPN via this script.
You probably want to make a copy of the OS on the card.
sudo dd if=/dev/sdX of=./raspbian-with-pi-fi.img bs=1M
