This project is a stream processing system designed to fetch data from the randomuser.me website, process the data using Kafka, and store it in a PostgreSQL database.
- Ensure that Docker is installed on your system.
- Clone the project repository from GitHub.
- Navigate to the codes directory.
To run the project, execute the following commands in order:
# Build Docker image
docker build -t my-python-app .
# Run Docker container
docker run my-python-app
After running these commands, your application should be up and running properly.
Configuration
To configure the connection to Kafka and PostgreSQL, edit the respective files in the codes directory.
