💡 Print this cheat sheet and
place it near the PS3 console

You can find it in /setup.ps3

✅ = Combos used often

General Combos

SELECT + START = System information: Temperature, FW version, Payload, IP, Free HDD, Free RAM
>> Press the buttons for few seconds to enable/disable persistent popup. You will hear 1 or 2 beeps.

R2 + = Show Game ID + version / Cancel copy / cancel fix game

It also shows idps/idps + enable in-game screenshot on CFW + backup/restore act.dat on HEN
If game is PS1/PS2 /dev_bdvd/SYSTEM.CNF is displayed as notification
If /dev_bdvd is not mounted, the game in /app_home is displayed.

L2 + START = Play Disc (Launches the mounted game from XMB)
R2 + START = Play /app_home/PS3_GAME/ (Launches apps or the mounted game from XMB)

SELECT + R2 + = Quick install the next pkg file in /dev_hdd0/packages (install from XMB)

Scan for Content

SELECT + L3 = Refresh XML with no extended content profile (0)

SELECT + L3 + L1 + R1 = Refresh XML + Reload XMB (if the app is installed)

Hold L2 + R2 when system starts to prevent content scanning on startup
>> The combo also prevents auto-mount last game on startup (if the option is enabled)

L3 + R3 = Toggle FPS / Scan / Copy progress messages

Extended Content Profile

List Games for Extended Content Profile <n> = 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5:

SELECT + L3 + R2 = Refresh XML + profile1 (normal folders + /GAMES_1, /PS3ISO_1, etc.)
SELECT + L3 + L2 = Refresh XML + profile2 (normal folders + /GAMES_2, /PS3ISO_2, etc.)
SELECT + L3 + R1 = Refresh XML + profile3 (normal folders + /GAMES_3, /PS3ISO_3, etc.)
SELECT + L3 + L1 = Refresh XML + profile4 (normal folders + /GAMES_4, /PS3ISO_4, etc.)

Note: If webMAN Games menu was accessed, you'll need to restart the console or reload XMB to see the changes.

The Extended Content Profile 5 shows the content of all the profiles. There is not a combo for it. Use /setup.ps3


L2 + L3 + R3 = Go to webMAN Games entry on XMB

TIP: Use L2 + L3 + R3 to set the audio visualization, video player or photo slider as XMB background
or "dynamic theme'. If the XMB navigation gets stuck, press L2 + L3 + R3 again to fix the issue. 
Works great with Gaia and Canyon mods by @DeViL303

TIP2: Copy the custom Gaia visualizations to /dev_hdd0/tmp/earth/<#>.qrc (e.g. 1.qrc, 2.qrc, etc.) auto change on every boot.

L2 + R2 + L3 + R3 = Same as above, but also reloads Game column

TIP: Use this combo to navigate XMB while downloading or installing a PKG file

TIP2: To make a video play in background, press the combo immediately after load
the video from XMB (while the video is still loading and showing a black screen).
Pressing the combo after the video is loaded, the XMB will be displayed with the video paused.

Temperature

SELECT + START = Shows System info. Shows almost the same info as /cpursx.ps3

SELECT + START + R2 = Shows in-game info (game name / play time) or fix/copy progress

L3 + R2 + START = Toggle fan control on/off (SYSCON mode/dynamic mode)
L3 + L2 + START = Set fan control mode to auto #2
L3 + L2 + R2 + START = Set fan control mode to PS2 manual mode

SELECT + RIGHT = Increase maximum temperature (switch to dynamic fan mode)
SELECT + LEFT = Decrease maximum temperature (switch to dynamic fan mode)

SELECT + UP = Increase fan speed (switch to manual fan mode)
SELECT + DOWN = Decrease fan speed (switch to manual fan mode)

Mount

Hold when a game is mounting to force auto-play (if Auto-Play setting is disabled)
Hold when a game is mounting to cancel auto-play (if Auto-Play setting is enabled)

Hold L2 button to cancel auto-play of the mounted game.

Hold R2 when a game is mounting to use ps1_netemu / ps2_netemu / disable syscalls on PS3
Hold L2 when a game is mounting to use ps1_emu / ps2_emu
Hold R1 when a game is mounting to toggle emu / netemu

SELECT + = Toggle External Game Data

SELECT + R1 = Mount next game in Last Game list

SELECT + L1 = Mount previous game in Last Game list

SELECT + R2 + = Mount root of /net0 as /dev_bdvd

SELECT + L2 + = Mount root of /net1 as /dev_bdvd

Unmount

SELECT + = Unmount the currently mounted ISO or folder

When SELECT + ◯ is used to unmount the current game, the folder /dev_hdd0/packages is automatically mapped to /app_home.
This allows you to ★ Install All Package Files found that folder using △ on Package Manager > Standard Location

Since wMM 1.47.25.2 several combos that use ◯ now use (X) on Japanese consoles. e.g. SELECT + (X)

Hold L2 + R2 when system starts to prevent auto-mount last game on startup (if the option is enabled)

PS3 Browser

L2 + R2 + = Open File Manager

L2 + R2 + R1 + = Open Games List /index.ps3

L2 + R2 + L1 + = Open System Info /cpursx.ps3

L2 + R2 + L1 + R1 + = Open Setup /setup.ps3

Quit & Restart

L3 + R2 + = Restart console
L3 + R1 + = Restart console (vsh restart)

L3 + R2 + = Shutdown console
L3 + R1 + = Shutdown console (turn off using vsh call)

R2 + L3 + R3 = Unloads webMAN MOD (sets fan to PS2 mode if dynamic fan mode is selected)

    How to force unload wMM from memory to free resources Create /dev_hdd0/tmp/wm_unload to force unload wMM from memory.
    It causes a LV2 kernel interrupt(exception) that may freeze some consoles.

SELECT + L3 + L2 + R2 = FAIL SAFE (deletes /dev_hdd0/boot_plugins.txt & reboot)

SELECT + R3 + L2 + R2 = Reset SAFE (deletes webMAN MOD config file & reboot)

Stealth

R2 + = Disable CFW syscalls. It also enables the screen Sign In To PSN on Network column

R2 + = Show Name + Title ID / SYSTEM.CNF / Cancel copy / cancel fix game / show idps/psid + enable in-game screenshot

R2 + = Performs custom combo (default: Block online servers)

L3 + R3 + R2 = Unloads webMAN MOD (this combo is used also by PSN patch to enable PSN access)

Hold R2 button to disable CFW syscalls when a PS3 game is being mounted.
If the game path includes the tag [online] the CFW syscalls are auto-disabled except if R2 is pressed.

Video Rec & Screenshot

SELECT + R3 = Toggle in-game video recorder

SELECT + R3 + L2 = Select video rec setting

SELECT + R3 + R2 = Change value of the selected video rec setting

SELECT + R3+ R2 + L2 = Load video_rec.sprx and unload webMAN MOD to free more memory

The combos in video_rec.sprx are:
R3 = record video using bg memory container
R2 + R3 / L2 + R3 = record video using app memory container
L2 + R2+L3 = default format
R2 + L3 = change audio format
L2 + L3 = change video format
R3 + L3 = Unload video_rec.sprx

L2 + R2 + SELECT + START = Capture XMB screenshot (full edition only)

NOTE: For in-game screenshots use the XMB option Save Screenshot under Photo column.
TIP: Some games allows capture using PS + START or press PrintScreen key on USB keyboard.

Togglers

L1 + R1 + = Toggle between Full/Standard and Lite editions

SELECT + L2 + R2 = Switch PS2EMU

SELECT + L2 + = Toggle PS2CLASSIC flag file

L3 + L2 + = Toggle COBRA (webMAN will not load when system starts when Cobra is disabled)

L3 + L2 + = REBUG Mode Switcher (toggles VSH to Rebug mode)

L3 + L2 + = Normal Mode Switcher (toggles VSH to Normal mode)

L3 + L2 + = DEBUG Menu Switcher (toggle sysconf_plugin.sprx between CEX/DEX)

Custom

R2 + = Performs custom combo (default: Block online servers)

Use /combos.html to select and edit the custom combo files using a slider GUI.

Since 1.47.37 the combo files can be a single line web command or a multi-line webMAN script.
