When updating

• Setup git

  • Switch to your individual branch with git checkout name
  • Run git pull origin main to merge online changes before you start working. It'll ask for a commit message so just enter merge online changes or something like that

• Duplicate the HTML, JS, and CSS files (even if they won't be edited) and rename them to the version you're working on

• Change the version number, description and source CSS/JS files on the version html page

• Update index.html with new links and description

• Test changes!!

• After commiting and pushing to your individual branch, go to the branches page and press New Pull Request next to your name. Title it with the version you worked on and press Create Pull Request, then Merge

• Update your OneNote logbook and the group Gantt chart on OneDrive

  • Create a backup of the Gantt chart after you edit it and put it in the Gantt chart backups folder
