  • Issue: Need a way to version templates as they are modified over time
    • Is there a need for associating a collection of related templates?
    • If you have some notion of a collection of immutable templates, how does that interact with base images?
    • Action: Send proposal to list, scott ian martyn.

    • 3-5 user stories to drive Conductor, and write the design to address the stories

   • Resolve contentious items

     • Include responsibility of each team/representative to bring up items that go beyond the scope of their own component.

We agreed that there are two primary functions to be performed by this group.

1. Sometimes discussions on other channels (mailing list, IRC, individual team meetings) cannot reach a decision. We will try to intercept these discussions and generate a consensus.

2. Sometimes decisions are made on other channels that may not have grabbed the attention of all affected parties. We will try to intercept these decisions, discuss them and identify any issues that may have been missed and, ultimately, "ratify" them.

Each component needs to have an owner within the group. The owner is responsible for bringing items of either type to the cabal. Ideally, these items should be put on the agenda beforehand. Martyn should send out a reminder mail 24 hours before each meeting to remind people of this fact.
