You can navigate between StoryItems in Edit mode using ctrl or right click or open the structureview sidebar on the left and click one there to make it active. Right clicking when mouse is not over a child in Edit mode shows the Options popup (but you can also access it for the ActiveStoryItem using the Gear button on the right)
CTRL+mousewheel zooms the view in/out
ALT+mousewheel
- resizes a child of the ActiveStoryItem when you're over it (the ones with the single line border in edit mode)
- resizes the ActiveStoryItem if the mouse is over its empty/background area instead of over a child item (so you can use it to make the RootStoryItem [the one at the top of the StructureView] have lower or bigger resolution/detail if needed)
Touch currently works like the mouse does. Gesture support is also planned.
There is some gesture support available currently if you have multitouch trackpad on your laptop, e.g. you can pinch on an direct child of the ActiveStoryItem to resize it
