Pokerogue-Standalone

This is a simple electron app that runs Pokérogue on fullscreen by default.

I made this app with couch gaming / Steam Deck in mind.

Features

Every feature listed here is enabled by default but can be disabled:

• Custom Pokérogue themed mouse cursor
• Hide mouse cursor on idle
• Changed background color to pitch black
• Fullscreen by default

Windows

Use the prebuilt installer or manually extract the zip file.

Linux

Steam Deck:

• Downlaod the desktop file.
• Place the .desktop file on your desktop (ff using firefox, rename this file to remove the .downlaod extension).
• Run the installer by clicking on the desktop file.

Getting it to work in gamemode:

• Add Pokerogue as a non steam game.
• Add --no-sandbox as launch argument.
• (Optional) Select 1280x720 in game properties to center the window and toggle for any internal/external screen.

Others:

Use the provided DEB / RPM installers or:

• Download and extract the zip file.
• Open a terminal in the extracted folder.
• Allow install.sh to be executed as a program: chmod +x ./install.sh
• Run the installer: ./install.sh

Usage

• --no-fullscreen: Disable fullscreen
• --default-cursor: Use system cursor instead of custom one and disable hiding on idle
• --disable-css: Use default background color instead of black
• F5: Restart
• F11: Toggle fullscreen

Build

• Install NodeJS
• Clone this repository
• In the folder, setup electron and electron-builder: npm install electron electron-builder --save-dev
• Run with npm run start or build with npm run build
• Run the binaries produced in dist folder
