An elegant and easy-to-use WordPress lightbox plugin, made especially for the new WordPress block editor. Because it searches for gallery CSS classnames that are produced by the new block editor, some functionality only works in WordPress 5.0 and above.

Please follow the instructions below to install the Twentynineteen Lightbox plugin.
- Download the Twentynineteen Lightbox plugin ZIP file.
- Log in to your WordPress website admin panel.
- Go to Admin panel > Plugins > Add New.
- In the top-left corner, next to the page title, click on Upload Plugin.
- Click Choose file, then select the Twentynineteen Lightbox plugin ZIP file.
- Click Install and then Activate to activate the plugin.
After you have installed the Twentynineteen Lightbox plugin you have a new option in your Admin panel, called 2019 Lightbox. You can click this option to edit the Twentynineteen Lightbox options.
In the plugin options screen you find two settings you can change:
- The CSS classname that invokes the lightbox functionality, and
- The type of gallery of which you want the images to have the lightbox functionality.
