The new HURC website. It's live at www.harvardrobotics.com
The website is built on a nodeJS backend with ExpressJs routing for backend API calls.
The frontend is built on AngularJS 1, with ES6 classes. Frontend routing is handled by Angular ui-router.
The script files are bundled using Webpack, the style files are minified and bundled usign gulp-minify-css and images are optimized using gulp-imagemin.
Tasks are managed using Gulp.
To run locally,
- Install Node and npm:
- If you're on a Mac:
- first install brew by running
/usr/bin/ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)"
- Then install node and npm by running
brew install node && brew install npm
- first install brew by running
- If you're on Linux:
- run
sudo apt-get install node && sudo apt-get install npm
- run
- If you're on a Mac:
- Install the gulp cli by running
sudo npm install --global gulp-cli
- clone the repository
- run
npm install
- run
gulp build-images
- run
sudo npm start
The site should now be running at http://localhost:80/
