What happened?

Codecov was enabled by mistake and while the code coverage was improving, there were some blockers from the integration.

We have now disabled it, but will investigate reenabling it and doing some testing as part of this issue so we can decide if we can have it enabled for futures releases

Notes from 30th April Meeting discussion
Let's look at this separate to the v1.4 release
But we want someone to review it, set it up, enable it and ensure the tool is working correctly - looking at code coverage as we expect
If we aren't going to use codecov, what else should we use to track the code coverage of our test?
