Not proposing for the core version of DofA but thinking about what it would be like for a session to be based entirely around Stamina (Cards remaining) and if a player reaches Lower Hand (3) after running out of cards three times they are considered Knocked Out.

Quick rests can help you redraw cards to prolong the degradation of Lower Hand, but only a Full Rest can remove the Status Condition of Fatigued.

We would change attacks to cause Stamina damage instead, meaning if a player took un-armored damage they would need to discard N cards where N is equal to damage taken minus your Vitality modifier (so if you take 1 damage and your VIT = +1 you wouldn't discard any cards, but if you took 3 damage you'd have to discard 2 cards.)

This would be an especially useful system for PVP in Deck of Arena because we could have damage and effects be way more meaningful and strategic as players are trying to literally wear their opponents down. If you run out of cards you Faint and respawn at the starting point after a number of rounds depending on the success or failure of Consciousness Checks played out as an epic event over the course of a few rounds as other players battle it out. The team's first deaths don't raise the Difficulty Range of the Consciousness Checks, but once one player goes to Lower Hand (2) the DR shrinks for the Epic Event and it takes more rounds to successfully recover from fainting. This would be fun because you're strategically conserving your cards while trying to do damage or force Lower Hand to your enemies while competing over objectives and points of interest and value for treasure.

Revised language about Modifiers to re-specify that the +X modifier gets added to the DR when making a check.

This is based on issue DeckofAdventures#59 and the general suggestion from playtest feedback to make the Modifiers and Target Card system feel more natural early on in playing the game.

Also minor fix to Poisoned to drain Stamina instead of HP (Issue DeckofAdventures#73).

Added Fatigue as an explicit Status Condition. (partially addressing Issue DeckofAdventures#69).

Updated 'Primary Suit' to 'Burn Mechanics' (addressing Issue DeckofAdventures#78)
