Welcome to basic implementation of Conway's game of life in phoenix! Conway's Game of Life Wikipedia

I have used this as an opportunity to learn elixir and phoenix!

Getting started

To start your Phoenix server:

• Run mix setup to install and setup dependencies
• Start Phoenix endpoint with mix phx.server or inside IEx with iex -S mix phx.server

Now you can visit localhost:4000 from your browser.

Postgres is used for the database so one will need to be configured.

I have a simple docker-compose file for developers to get postgresql and PG admin installed here: Postgres with PG Admin using docker-compose
