Requesting Symbols

To request a new symbol to be included in Gust Symbols, please search to see if your symbol request already exists. If a request is found, please add a 👍 reaction to that one. If not, open an issue using the appropriate request template.

License

Gust Symbols is free and open-source. Feel free to use it for commercial projects, open-source projects, etc.

  • The CC BY SA 4.0 license applies to all symbols packaged as .svg or other image file types.
• Fonts — SIL OFL 1.1
  • The SIL OFL license applies to all symbols packaged as web and desktop font files.
• Code — GNU AGPLv3
  • The GNU AGPLv3 license applies to all non-font and non-symbol files.

Attribution is required by GNU AGPLv3, SIL OFL, and CC BY SA licenses. Downloaded Gust Symbols files already contain embedded comments with sufficient attribution, so you shouldn't need to do anything additional when using these files normally.

The attribution comments are unobtrusive, so we ask that you do not actively work to remove them from files, especially code.

Logo Symbols

All logos are trademarks of their respective owners. The use of these trademarks does not indicate endorsement of the trademark holder by Gust Symbols, nor vice versa. Refer to the company, product, or service to which the symbol refers for rules about the appropriate use of their trademarks.
