Connect to wifi network
By default in wifi section you can see all found networks by the wifi interface with network related informations like signal level or network encryption.
To connect to wifi network of your choice click on connect button at end of network line:
- Once dialog opened, fill the password
- And click on
connectbutton
After clicking on connect button dialog closes and new message should appear near network you choose to connect to:
- Not connected: when wifi interface is not connected to a network
- Connecting...: when wifi interface is connecting to a network
- Connected with ip address xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx: when wifi interface is connected to a network. It also displays the ip address
- Unable to connect, invalid password: when password was invalid during network connection
To see connection infos once connected, click on network line it opens a dialog showing some infos like mac address, ip address, gateway.
