DevConnect is a web platform primarily developed for professional networking among the people in tech. It is an anti-toxic social media application where users can find other like minded folks, connect and chat for smoother 1:1 interactions, everything in a non-toxic environment.

📦 Get Started locally :-

1. Fork this repository
2. git clone your fork to your system
3. Open the cloned directory in your code editor
4. Open the terminal and split it into two
5. Run cd server and cd client in them
6. Next run npm i in both the splits
7. Create .env file in /server directory and enter desired backend port and your MongoDB url link like :
8. Lastly run npm start in both terminals and you will have the project up and running on localhost:3000 in your browser
