Does the project have in mind to implement Jingle protocol.
Smack library can help to grow features to audio/video conferencing.

This is not a priority. For voice / video I would expect proper end to end encryption, and there is nothing to be seen yet on that front.

What incompatibility have PGP/OTR/OMEMO with audio/video conferencing?

You don't need to encrypt calls. Yaxim doesn't have end-to-end encryption for text, either. Calls, even if unencrypted, are not bad. And you can add encryption later.
